2022 First Matter Press Cohort Release: ahuva s. zaslavsky, Riley Danvers, Sonya Wohletz, Hailey Spencer & Xylophone Mykland

First Matter Press released five titles of poetry and hybrid literature at the fruition of our fifth annual publishing cycle. The 2022 cohort was guided by myself and co-editors Lauren Paredes, Caroline Wilcox Reul, and Emily Moon. Covers feature brilliant artwork including cyanotypes and ink and pen drawings by Portland artist Rachel Mulder. I designed and facilitated production for all five titles, and served as lead editor for Between These Borders Wanders a Golem and Someone I Can Hold Gently.
